The Child Care Rebate has been increased to cover 50% of costs up to $7,500 per child each year. The Childcare Rebate is not income tested.

Families can choose to have their child care rebate payments made fortnightly and they can also have the rebate paid directly to their child care service in order to receive an immediate reduction on their bills.
